On the 7th of March, Pilots Careers Live returns to Dublin’s Croke Park Convention Centre from 10am to 4pm. If you are someone considering a career in aviation from pursuing a cadetship or a career in Air Traffic Control, the event is a must attend. In recent years, this event has brought the industry experts together with those interested in joining the industry and has proven to be incredibly beneficial. Each year the event hosts the top exhibitors including Aer Lingus, Atlantic Flight Training Academy, The Irish Aviation Authority and City Jet who will once again be attending this year’s conference. Attendees will be afforded the opportunity to enquire about entry routes into the industry with exhibitors on a face-to-face basis and the differing requirements which are necessary to have obtained prior to application.

Throughout the day there will be various seminars given by organisations such as Aviation Selection Consultant Margie Burns who will discuss how to prepare for pre training assessments and Captain Steve Connolly from the Irish Air Corps to highlight the pilot opportunities within the Irish Army. Also speaking on the day will be Captain Karl O’Neill of Aer Lingus who will be presenting on his career with Irelands flagship carrier and speaking about the selection process of becoming an Aer Lingus Pilot.

Be sure to drop over to the IASA stand on the day where our team will be on hand to provide information on careers within the industry as a whole. This means those unsure of which route they wish to take within aviation can learn more about the different options available to them such as universities offering aviation degrees, air traffic control, aviation apprenticeships and aero engineering to help you to kickstart your career in Aviation.
