PLC – Aviation Finance – Rathmines College of Further Education
Objectives of the Course:
Over the duration of 1 year, this course aims to equip the student with the necessary skills to work in the Aircraft Leasing Sector. It is a Business course by nature and includes a variety of modules. Emphasis is put on aircraft and airline finance and leasing. The course covers complex aircraft finance by including assessment related to the industry as well Work Experience so that students can apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom.

Future Careers:
Students who successfully complete this course will receive a QQI Level 5 Award in Business Studies (5M2012) and can pursue a career in aircraft leasing, accountancy and administration. Ireland is a well recognised world hub for aircraft leasing with some of the world’s largest aircraft leasing companies headquartered in Ireland. This sector is experiencing strong growth and recruiting.
