PLC – Airline Studies – Dunboyne College of Further Education
Objectives of the Course:
This one-year course aims to prepare students for all aspects of the growing tourism sector in Ireland. The skills provided in this course enables students to take up employment in the tourism industry or in the travel area as members of Airline Cabin Crew and as a Travel Consultant. The course also includes a unique Cabin Crew Course, accredited by International Academy of Travel (IAOT). Work experience is also an important part of this course and students also have the possibility to be selected for an Erasmus exchange.

Future Careers:
Students who successfully complete this course will receive a QQI Level 5 Award in Tourism and Business (5M5011) and graduates may seek immediate employment in a range of airline, tourism or marketing roles.
Alternatively, students will also have the opportunity to progress through the CAO ( www.cao.ie ) to Higher Education at Level 7 and 8 for further study in Tourism and Travel, as well as Business.
