Description

This MBA qualification will open you up to a world of possibilities in the business sector offering you the technical knowledge you will require to further your career with the aim of reaching C-Suite management. The course is tailored to your expertise and provides the option to take electives in Aviation Management, offering you the power to further your career path goals and embed new areas of expertise in this sector. Electives can be taken in areas such as Air Transport Characteristics, Fleet Planning and Airline Finance and Ground Operations which will assist you in developing a deeper knowledge of the industry. 

 

Minimum Requirements 

Level 8 Degree  Minimum of 4 years’ experience 

 

Structure/Content of the Course 

Year One  

Students study Financial Reporting, Macroeconomics and the Global Economy, Market Orientation and Customer Focus, Managing in the International Context, Corporate Finance and Data Analysis for Business Decision. Along with the 6 core modules, the MBA offers the opportunity to take electives in Air Transport Characteristics and Fleet planning in year one which will assist students with developing a deeper understanding of these areas within the Aviation Industry. 

 

Year Two 

Students study Corporate Strategy Analysis, Strategic Human Resource Management, Information Systems & Knowledge Management, Implementing Strategy, Strategic Leadership and Creativity, Innovation & Entrepreneurial Management. Along with these six core subjects once again student shave the option to specialise in taking an elective in Airline Finance and Ground Operations. 

The program will conclude with a Management Project/Thesis.

Many students return to the industries in which they have come from. Most students come from Pharma/Medical/Bio-Tech Healthcare sector, Manufacturing or Financial/Accounting backgrounds, however 8% would present with a background in Aviation
