Description 

This certificate is designed mainly for prospective students that may be already working within aviation and may wish to develop and upskill themselves within the aviation industry, or students wanting to develop an understanding of the Aircraft leasing and finance sector. This programme allows students the opportunity to build upon the knowledge and skills they already possess in relation to aviation and obtain up to date information on aircraft leasing as Ireland works its way up to being a recognised leading hub in the aircraft leasing sector, where it has approximately 3000 planes under management and continuing to grow.   

 

Minimum Requirements 

Either 

  • Level 6 Qualification or higher 
  • Relevant industry experience 

 

Structure/Content of the Course 

Within this course students will have the opportunity to learn from their lecturers who have been carefully selected for their prestige academic reputation. The lecturers are made up of experienced professionals within the aviation industry, which ensures that throughout the course students will be receiving up to date relevant knowledge and insights into the aircraft acquisition and finance industry. 

Certificate in Aircraft Acquisition and Finance is a yearlong part time course where the classes are run on a day/evening basis, and are delivered on behalf of Carlow IT in their off-campus learning facilities in the IFSC Dublin, and Lufthansa Shannon, Co Clare, depending on the number of students enrolled.
