Description: Aerovate challenges third-level students to foster ideas that will revolutionize the world of aviation, and that have the potential to develop into a real-life business opportunity.
Who can apply: The competition is open to individuals and groups of up to four people from any background with an idea that can revolutionise the aviation industry.
What is on offer: The winner or winning team will receive €5,000, as well as the possibility of further developing their idea through an internship with GECAS. There will also be two runners-up prizes of €1,000, on offer.
How to apply: To enter, students must submit their ideas through written and video format before a shortlist of the top five entries is invited to present to an expert panel of judges at the GECAS offices in Shannon. The closing date for entries is midnight, Friday 27th September.
