Aer Lingus Future Pilot Programme
The Aer Lingus Future Pilot Programme is a fully funded 14-month training in Spain for aspiring pilots aged 18+. With only 16 spots among thousands of applicants, successful candidates train on Airbus A320s and gain career opportunities, including captain roles. Look out for updates on the Aer Lingus website.
BA Future Pilot Programme
The British Airways Future Flyer Programme offers an ATPL or MPL route for aspiring pilots aged 17+. The self-funded course lasts 18+ months and includes Airbus A320 type rating. Ryanair Mentor Programme
The Ryanair Mentorship Programme offers training for ab-initio and experienced pilots in partnership with AFTA. Ab-initio trainees complete 16-18 months of training in Cork, followed by B737 type rating. Entry requires an EU passport, a Class 1 Medical, and funding of €86,000.
