Airbus – Fly Your Ideas

Fly Your Ideas is a biennial global competition, organised in partnership with UNESCO, which challenges students to innovate for the future of aviation. At Airbus, we’re constantly looking for new, better ways to fly and that’s what Fly Your Ideas is all about.

The Council of European Aerospace Societies (CEAS) is an International Non-Profit Association, with the aim to develop a framework within which the major Aerospace Societies in Europe can work together.
Following its establishment as a legal entity conferred under Belgium Law, this association began its operations on January 1st, 2007. Its basic mission is to add value at a European level to the wide range of services provided by the constituent Member Societies, allowing for greater dialogue between the latter and the European institutions, governments, aerospace and defence industries and academia.

The Honourable Company of Air Pilots

The Company’s flying scholarships provide a unique opportunity for people who would like to become pilots or to further their qualifications as pilots. We try to arrange the selection period to avoid school/university examination times, whilst still providing candidates with as many months of potential good weather as we can to complete their training.

ICAO Next Generation of Aviation Professionals

It has been recognized by the international aviation community that there will be an anticipated shortage of skilled aviation professionals in the near future. In order to address this important issue, ICAO launched the Next Generation of Aviation Professionals (NGAP) initiative to ensure that enough qualified and competent aviation professionals are available to operate, manage and maintain the future international air transport system.

ISTAT Foundation

The International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading Foundation (ISTAT Foundation) was founded in 1994 to provide funds for scholarships, educational programs and grants to qualified individuals and institutions that promote the advancement of commercial aviation and humanitarianism.

Funding for ISTAT Foundation programs is provided by annual grants from ISTAT and contributions from individuals and companies. The ISTAT Foundation Board of Trustees is responsible for fund raising and the selection of programs that meet the Foundation’s objectives.

RAeS Young Persons Network

The Royal Aeronautical Society’s membership spans across Europe and the rest of the world and has a thriving population of young members studying or starting their careers in aerospace. The RAeS Young Persons Network aims to enable young people to become more visible and actively engage with the aerospace industry and participate in Society activities as part of continuous professional development. This is a wonderful opportunity to attend specialist events, network with your peers, build business contacts and develop key skills.

USAIRE – Association of United States and European Aerospace Industry Representatives

Since 1959, USAIRE encourages US, UK and French companies to foster transatlantic cooperation in the community of Civil and Defence Aerospace, Space and High Technologies. Airbus Group, Safran, Rolls-Royce, Raytheon, Dassault Aviation, BAe Systems, Thales and Daher Socata are some of USAIRE Members…
Student Award
The Student Award is an annual contest organized by USAIRE Association, opened to students from mostly French and European universities. They are invited to write a paper study on a pre-defined subject related to aerospace. Several prizes may be won each year by the students who present the best papers, each of these prizes being granted by a different sponsor (Airfares, visit of our sponsors’ premises, internships and so forth). The Award ceremony takes place during USAIRE’s Thanksgiving gala dinner in November, milestone event of the Aerospace community in Paris

The Wings Club

The Wings Club Scholarship Fund was established to encourage education in aviation and aerospace. The fund helps today’s students become tomorrow’s leaders. Its objective is to foster educational opportunities for individuals pursuing an education in the field of aviation through making grants to educational institutions for the establishment of student grants and loans.

Women in Aviation International WAI

Women in Aviation, International is the fastest growing aviation organization dedicated to encouraging young people to consider aviation careers as well as providing networking opportunities for women and men through the aviation industry.
Our members represent the broad scope of aviation – general, corporate, commercial and military. WAI members include aeronautical engineers, pilots, maintenance technicians, educators, air traffic controllers, avionics technicians, airport managers, business owners, dispatchers, artists, students, flight attendants and enthusiasts.
