We will be hosting our 4th Annual Symposium on the 27th of February in the Helix, Dublin. As we are quickly approaching the event new speakers have been confirmed and there will be insightful and engaging panels present on the day. There will be over fifteen speakers coming from a broad range of experiences and areas of the industry. The keynote speaker is Rachel Frye which has over 20 years experience in the aviation industry and is currently the Aviation Finance Advisory Practice Leader in PwC.

Second Level students can benefit from attending the symposium for free. There will be opportunities to win prizes and give-aways on the day.

Students and those interested in engineering would benefit from listening to Conor Hoey, Associate Director - Aviation Business Leader Europe at ARUP. Dublin is recognised internationally for being the centre hub of aircraft leasing with the largest companies based in Dublin, many of whom will be featured at the event such as Avolon, SMBC AC and DAE Capital. For students interested in becoming a pilot or pursuing a cadetship, the Symposium is a great chance to listen to pilots’ experiences. Brian D’Arcy is a Boeing 737 Captain and Mark Duffy is the Head of Talent Acquisition from Ryanair both of whom will be speaking.

It will also give second level students a powerful insight and information which will help them in their decision for the CAO.

Registration will begin at 09:00 AM. As the Helix is based on a university campus, it is recommended to arrive early if you are driving before the carpark reaches full capacity. Information on the bus routes can be found here-

As the final date for the Symposium is approaching we look forward to welcoming you all to our event and hope to see some familiar faces from our previous events. For any queries about the event information will be available on our website and social media.
