With just under a month to go until IASA’s 4th annual symposium, which will take place on Wednesday 27th February from 09:00-16:00 in The Helix, Glasnevin. We have been working hard behind the scenes with some of the largest names in Irish aviation confirmed to speak at our event.

As an organisation, we aim to bridge the gap between students and the aviation industry. We achieve this through our symposium which gives students an incredible opportunity to listen to some of the best leaders in the industry.

IASA is delighted to announce our first panel which will be moderated by Andy MacIntyre (DCU) and discussed by; Conor Keeling (Professional Pilot Coaching), Murrae Ross-Eskell (The ISTAT Foundation), Mark Duffy (Ryanair) and Claire O’Donoghue (IAA). With such a diverse panel, students will be exposed to a broad spectrum of topics and gain an exclusive insight into the aviation job sector.

Rachel Frye will also be attending and is one of our key note speakers at the symposium. Rachel leads PwC Irelands Aviation Finance Advisory Practice. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the aviation industry and has held a variety of senior roles around the globe. Over the past eight years, Rachel has advised airlines, banks, manufacturers, VC and hedge funds, the Royal Air Force, lessors and various government entities on a variety of areas within the aircraft finance sector, from fleet restructuring and associated technical issues, to portfolio management including deal origination, structuring and risk assessment

As well as being a fantastic learning platform, the symposium gives students the opportunity to network with other likeminded individuals. Students will have the ability to converse with each other and share thoughts at our unique event.

Industry leaders from organisations such as; PwC, KPMG, SMBC AC, DAE, Avolon, Aer Lingus, Airbus, CAE Parc Aviation, ARUP and many more will all be in attendance.
