Ireland’s biggest air festival returns to Bray’s scenic seafront for the 13th time on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of July. In 2017, the Bray Air Display attracted 140’000 people to the event over the two days. The Airshow was recognised as ‘Best Festival / Event Experience over 50’000 people’ at the national Irish Tourism Awards 2017 and in 2018 the Bray Air Display team won Silver in the ‘Best Tourism Initiative’ category at the All-Ireland Community and Council Awards. The Bray Air Display seeks to encourage young people to consider an exciting career in aviation. The two-day event will contribute a €3.5 million to the local economy, with aviation fanatics travelling from all over Europe to the coastal town.

The Bray airshow is always one of the main events on Ireland’s aviation calendar. So far this year’s line-up includes over 40 aircraft as well as parachute teams and helicopters. In the last few years the quality of the aerobatic displays at Bray is really second to none. The confirmed line-up at the moment includes; Aer Lingus Jet, The Irish Air Corps, The Black Knights Parachute display team, the ‘Shamrock 1942’ Douglas DC3, Gerry Humphries with his ‘Flying Cow’ Vans RV7 display, The Royal Jordanian Falcons, The Red Arrows and many more!

Activities will kick off from noon on both days with a fun-fair, live music, food and craft markets with the air display to start shortly after. Spectators can take part in a helicopter ride over the beautiful seaside town and the picturesque Bray Head while waiting for the airshow to begin.

The Bray Air Display is a free event; however, hospitality packages are available which offer excellent food, drink and stunning panoramic views of the flight path from a grandstand located on the shoreline.

This event isn’t possible without the support of many sponsors and volunteers who give up their time for this great event.

Make sure to #BrayAirDisplay when updating your social media during the event and come visit IASA over the weekend to see how you can kickstart your career in aviation!

Visit for more information on their hospitality packages, and to get tickets for our first ‘Aviation Career Expo’ on the 19th of September.

We look forward to seeing you at the Bray Air Display!
